Joy Sloane is from Wellington but currently living at Waitarere Beach in the Horowhenua.

She has been singing country music now for the past 16 years . She is known as a balladeer and yodeller. She loves all types of country music from traditional country to country rock.

Although she did very well in awards around the North Island. Joy has not entered awards for some time. She has judged various awards.

Joy now prefers to entertain at clubs, She has been invited to sing at several festivals and charity concerts, which she enjoys.

Joy has just recorded and about to release her 3rd CD "Well I'm back again". Her first CD "Reminisce" was recorded in 2007 followed by her second CD "Living in the West"  recorded in 2010. These have been very popular and will be available at the festival.
