Carleen has been singing for a number of years and was one of the final three nominees for the 2009 Kiwi ProAm Country Music Female Artist of the Year Award.  Carleen was also nominated for the same award in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Carleen’s debut CD “Long Time Coming” was released in September 2008 and resulted in excellent sales prompting the release of her second CD “The Drought Has Broken” in May 2010.  

One of the singles that was on her "Long Time Coming" CD - Coal Miners Daughter was released by Hillcrest Music in Ontario, Canada in May 2010.  This has seen her become an international artist with her music being played in numerous countries around the world.

The release of “The Drought Has Broken” also found international success.

Carleen has been a regular performer at the Bay of Islands Country Rock Festival for the past three years and she has also been a regular entertainer at the annual Hokianga Country Music Festival.

This year she is backed by Matt Shepherd, Mort Peita, Ben Michelson and her husband Peter on drums. These are an awesome talented bunch of guys who help make the festivals a fun, fantastic weekend.
