Cam Luxton is a young man from Mid Canterbury who has been singing country music since he was nine years old, and has achieved so much –  winning Junior Overall in 2006 at the NZ Gold Guitar Awards.

At age 12 Cam toured New Zealand, Australia and the UK with country artists such as the Topp Twins, Marian Burns, Tami Neilson and Hamilton Country Blue Grass Band. One of his biggest highlights was being the opening act for Kenny Rogers at the Vector Arena.

Since then he has recorded two CDs – No More Nights and The Dog House – with the third EP Gravel Road released this year. “Country music is in my blood”, he states. “My dream is to travel to Nashville USA and further my career.”
