Noel Burns

Noel Burns' involvement in the entertainment industry began with the Caroline Bay talent quest in Timaru about 1970.

He has performed alongside numerous international entertainers and a host of national performers.

For the past 19 years he has been singing frontman for the Caroline Bay Association's annual carnival.

Noel has three albums to his credit: "Country Is" in 1979, "Modern Day Cowboy" in 1989 and "Special To Me" released just before Christmas in 2002.

Clearly his best recorded effort - "Special To Me" has 14 well chosen songs that he has enjoyed singing over the years and gained him recognition at the RIANZ Tui Awards -- reaching the top three in the Country Section.

He is equally at home in concert or cabaret and his sincere approach makes him popular wherever he performs.

Noel is currently really enjoying his entertainment engagements and plans to continue performing for as long as possible.
