Breakthru (Gavin & Phyllis Prentice) are a two piece band from Geraldine, South Canterbury.  With guitar and keyboard the duo perform most weekends at Clubs, RSAs, hotels, private functions, outdoor festivals or race meetings throughout the South Island and have toured extensively in the North Island performing at several Bay of Islands Country Rock Festivals.  Their music includes timeless hits covering rock’n’roll, country rock, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and easy listening music.   Breakthru have recorded 4 CDs.
